Ingredients
Sugar - 80 gms
Besan - 1.5 cups
Desi ghee - For frying
Mixed seeds - 3 tbsp
Method
1) Start by making sugar syrup. For that melt the sugar with 150 ml of water and heat till you get one string consistency
2) In a mixing bowl, make a batter with besan and water. The batter should be of flowy consistency
3) Melt ghee in a frying pan and deep fry the boondi by pouring the batter over a slotted turner and making small balls into the pan
4) Make sure to clean the turner before every batch and also that there is no batter stuck to it
5) Deep fry the boondi till they are just cooked through
6) Soak the fried boondi in the sugar syrup for at least 20 mins, the boondi will soak all the syrup and become soft
7) Add in the mixed seeds and nuts and mix them properly
8) Apply ghee on the hands and are small balls or laddoos with the sugar soaked boondi and serve
