Ingredients
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped green chilli - 2
Curry leaves - Handful
Chopped tomato - 1
Boiled grated potato - 3
Whole wheat bread - 3 slices
Black sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
Chopped parsley - For garnish
Butter - Few drops
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Mozzarella cheese - 1/4 cup
1) Start the recipe by preparing the potato stuffing (topping in this case) by making a tempering by heating ghee, then add chopped garlic, mustard seeds, chopped onion, green chilli and curry leaves and saute
2) Once the onions are soft and translucent add in the chopped tomatoes along with turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder
3) Add in the grated potatoes and combine it all till you get a bright yellow mixture and keep aside
4) Toast the whole wheat bread and place some mozzarella cheese in the middle of the bread and cover the cheese with a blanket of potato mixture, make sure you seal the side with the potato mixture so that the cheese does not come out
5) In a plate place some black sesame seeds and chopped parsley and cover the top of the toast with this mixture
6) Add a few drops of butter on a dosa tawa and toast the bread on both sides till the cheese is melted inside
7) Serve hot with a cup of tea or coffee
