Ingredients
Oats - 1.5 cups
Aniseed - 1 tsp
Milk powder - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Ghee - Shallow frying
Sugar - 1 cup
Method
1) Grind the oats into a powder and add milk powder to it, fennel seeds and curd. Whisk into a thick batter, cover and keep aside for 30 mins
2) In a pan make a sugar syrup by heating sugar and water (equal quantities), when the syrup just starts to get sticky, remove it from the flame
3) Heat ghee in a pan and shallow fry small pancake shapes made with the batter
4) Soak the fried malpuas in sugar syrup and let them sit for 4-5 mins
5) Stack them on a plate and top with chilled rabri and dry fruits
